Claire Marshall

Born on July 18, 1999

Born to an American father who is a professional magician, and a Japanese mother.
Claire was educated in Japanese and English from an early age.

She graduated School of International Liberal Studies at Waseda University, Tokyo,
and during her sophomore year, studied abroad for a year at
SUNY Binghamton in the theatre department.

In addition to performing in Japanese/English musicals, she also works as a Japanese⇔English simultanious interpreter and translator.

Achievements in the U.S.

In 2019~2020, Claire entered Binghamton University, State University of New York, School of fine arts.

She auditioned for that semester's Main Stage Production one week into her study abroad program, and was the only international student who got casted in the show.
In addition to her studies, she traveled to Broadway to go see live musicals.

Carrer as a translator

In 2019, Claire co-translated the script for the Japanese production of "You're a good man, Charlie Brown", and "Avenue Q".

She also has translated and performed more than 20 English songs into Japanese in her own live performances.

As a simultanious ineterpreter, she has worked for several acting workshops in Japan conducted by English.
Major instructors include Patti Stiles, Daniel Orantia and Mike Alfreds.
